timeless drum textures inspired by classic hardware and built for today’s sound.

After becoming obsessed with drum machines and processing, we built Dreamsonics by sampling our favorite tones from multiple eras of music.

 

Sounds were hand-sourced from iconic analog and digital units:

1980s: Oberheim DMX, Yamaha RX-5, E-MU Drumulator, Alesis HR-16, Linn LM-1 & 9000, Korg DDD-1
1990s: E-MU Mo Phatt, Proteus, SP1200, Korg EMX-1, MPC2000, MPC1000

 

Each drum was processed with the same gear used in the 80s/90s and digitally enhanced for modern punch.
Includes a “Trap Stash” folder with our take on today’s go-to trap drums.

Yes — all drum sounds, one-shots, textures, phrases, accents, and preset banks included are 100% royalty-free with no strings attached for use in your productions, beats, and digital releases.

 

The only exception applies to melodic loops or full compositions: if a melodic loop from a Haven Audio pack is used in a song that gets placed with a prominent artist (major or independent), the creator of the sample is entitled to fair publishing and royalty splits, as is standard in the industry. In such cases, please contact us at support@havenaud.io for easy, stress-free clearance.

Is this sample pack compatible with any DAW?

Yes — all files are standard .wav format, making them fully compatible with any DAW. You can drag and drop the sounds directly into your session. All melodic loops are accurately key and BPM labeled for easy workflow.

 

If a specific pack is designed as an expansion for a particular virtual instrument, ownership of that instrument is required to use the presets or patches included.
